There are several ways to get involved at MIFA! Learn about our current opportunities for volunteers below.
Meal delivery is a great opportunity for individuals, teams, congregations, and groups. You can deliver once or schedule a recurring route. Your deliveries provide vital social connections for our seniors, and this beloved volunteer opportunity will brighten your day too.
Deliveries take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. These deliveries will include hot meals as well as boxes of shelf-stable or frozen meals, so some moderate lifting is required.
Please note: While we do not require COVID-19 vaccination for our meal delivery volunteers, due to the age and health of our senior client population, we do strongly encourage it. Please keep the health and safety of our clients in mind as you deliver meals.
