MIFA Representative with MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope)
You can help carry on the legacy of MIFA’s founders by volunteering as a MIFA representative with MICAH, the Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope.
MICAH is a coalition of faith-based and community organizations joining together to give a more powerful voice to city leaders on such key issues as education, economic equity, and immigration/intercultural equity. It is an organization of organizations, joining their numbers to amplify their impact. MICAH is part of the Gamaliel Foundation, a network of community organizations across the country that have become a force for change.
We need volunteers to carry on research, meet with local leaders and government officials, do one-on-one interviews, and plan strategy, just to name a few.
You can learn more about MICAH here. Please contact Linda Marks, MIFA’s Inter-Faith and Community Outreach Officer at (901) 529-4560 or email@example.com for more information.
Bring your group to MIFA for a team-building experience that also serves our community. Group opportunities vary based on current needs but include delivering meals and collecting care packages for senior and family clients. Contact us to learn more.
