32nd Annual No-Go Gala

Visit mifa.org/NoGoGala to donate today!

Tribute gifts are a unique way of honoring family and friends. Make a charitable donation to MIFA to commemorate a birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement, or other achievement. Tributes also service as meaningful expressions of sympathy. You and the individual you designate will receive an acknowledgment of your contribution without reference to the amount. Send a tribute card by mail using our online donation form

Monthly Giving

Become a Pillar monthly donor, and your support will be a sustainable source of income MIFA can count on to fund service to our clients. It’s the easiest way to give and ensure that MIFA receives your ongoing support.

Your recurring online donation is secure and flexible. You choose the amount you wish to give each month and you can change or cancel at any time. Sign up now or make your first credit card donation by phone at (901) 529-4569.

Donate Your Birthday

Make your birthday—or any special occasion—even more memorable. Instead of gifts, ask your friends and family for a donation to MIFA. Pledge your birthday and help vulnerable families and seniors in need.

Souper Bowl of Caring

Help tackle hunger—and have a fun time doing it—by participating in Souper Bowl of Caring on Super Bowl Sunday. Take a collection at your party on game day. Or, have youth at your church use large soup bowls and pots to take a collection at the exits of the church after services. Even better, sell soup after your church services and advertise that all proceeds will go towards MIFA. The Souper Bowl is an international program that raises money for hunger programs in local communities. Your donations to MIFA can help food-insecure homebound seniors in Shelby County.

Contact Linda Marks for more information on how to donate.

A unique way for corporations, organizations, faith groups, and individuals to give back to the community and support MIFA Meals on Wheels. By subsidizing a neighborhood route of your choice, you’ll receive public recognition in a variety of ways. And, if you like, volunteers from your group can schedule ongoing delivery to your adopted route—a great way get to know those you’re helping. It’s a great teambuilding and community engagement opportunity for groups. To discuss this opportunity, contact us

Collection Projects

MIFA is always in need of comfort items for seniors, families, and babies. You can help by hosting a collection project at your workplace, church, or civic group—or just assemble a bag or two yourself. Senior gift bags are delivered to our Meals on Wheels clients on birthdays and holidays like Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. For more information, click here or contact us.

Holiday Cards

MIFA’s annual holiday card project is an easy and meaningful way to honor loved ones, friends, family, and colleagues while supporting MIFA’s work. For a minimum donation of $10 per card, your gift supports the vulnerable seniors and at-risk families we serve. Simply send us your list of recipients and we’ll take care of the rest! Our volunteers will hand-write your personal tribute message, address each card, and mail them on your behalf. Cards available seasonally.
